    Why I Trust the Bible
    Series: WHY
Christians do not have to trust the truth of God's Word with a "blind faith." There is much evidence to strengthen our faith in Scripture. The fact that Jesus rose bodily from the grave gives us confidence that He is God. On many occasions Jesus validated both the Old and New Testaments. We can have faith that the Bible is God's Word and that is true.

    Gospel-Centered Givers
    Series: UNITY
As Paul concluded his letter to the Philippians, he encouraged them to be gospel-centered givers. Gospel-centered givers make much of Jesus in their giving and advance the kingdom of Christ. We can please God and experience Him through our unselfish giving of our time, our talents, and our finances. May we be a people that give, not out of guilt, but because the gospel is central in our lives.
    Scripture: Philippians 4:14-23

    Satisfied: The Secret To Contentment
Paul faced many different types of circumstances in his ministry, both good and challenging. In whatever situation he found himself in, he was able to be content because of the strength and satisfaction that can only come from Jesus. Living the satisfied life brings glory to God and good to the follower of Jesus. May we seek Jesus every day and be satisfied and strengthened in Him.

filled | strengthened | thankful: a prayer for all believers
The Colossian Church was being was being exposed to false teaching, and Paul continuously prayed that they would be filled the knowledge of God’s will, so that they would walk in a worthy manner. He also prayed that they would be strengthened by God’s might, so that they could patiently endure with joy. Lastly, he prayed that they would be thankful to God the Father for all that He has done in their lives. These are the types of things that we need to pray continuously for ourselves and for our church.

Mothers Who Live By The Book
The most important thing a mother, or any woman, should do is  live out the Word of God in such a way that she honors God. As a godly mother does this, she will lead her family right, love her family right, and honor the Word of God with her lifestyle. May we all, as believers, press into God's Word daily, and may we be changed more into Christ's likeness.
    Scripture: Titus 2:1,3-5

As Paul continued to exhort the Philippians, he instructed them to not worry. He told them that prayer and the peace of God were cures for worry. Worrying can have drastic effects on our physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional health. May we run to God in times of worry and pray with a spirit of thanksgiving. As we trust in His control, may His peace surpass our understanding.

    The Pearl Beyond The Gates
As Jesus continued His parables in Matthew 13, He detailed the salvation experiences of two types of people. Even though we may have different salvation experiences, we all have the same salvation story. We were once dead in sin and Christ has made us alive in Him. Upon receiving salvation, we are promised great rewards, and Jesus is the greatest of those rewards. The greatest aspect of Heaven is not the "mansions," the streets of gold, or the family reunions, but the greatest aspect of heaven is the presence of Jesus. When we realize that, we will live our lives in pursuit of Jesus because while we're waiting, we're not waiting. Jesus lives in us.
    Scripture: Matthew 13:44-46

    Resurrection: Hoax Or History?
Jesus' death and resurrection are the most significant events in human history. If Jesus had not risen in bodily form, then we would have no hope of salvation. This Sunday we looked that the historical evidence supporting the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. We do not follow Jesus out of ignorance of history, rather, if we look at the evidence, we will see that it overwhelmingly supports the fact that Jesus rose from the grave. May this confidence give us boldness to share the Good News with others.
    Scripture: I Corinthians 15:12-19
