Walk Worthy
In the incredible book of Ephesians, Paul details the immeasurable riches that are found in Jesus, and he explains that the worth of Christ should compel us to live worthy lives. In response to this journey through the entire book of Ephesians, may our lives be change by the truth of God in the Word of God revealed by the Spirit of God. May the Holy Spirit take these truths and root them deep in our hearts so that we would enjoy Christ and walk worthy for His glory.
Scripture: Ephesians 1-6

    First Things First
When Paul was preparing to visiting Rome, he wrote them a letter imploring them to stand firm on the gospel. He told them not to be ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for salvation to all who believe. In 2018, may we be even more bold in the way we declare and display the Good News of Jesus by loving God, loving people, and loving our world.

Promises: The Child Of The Promise
Scripture gave many prophecies concerning the birth of the Messiah. Jesus is the only One who could have fulfilled all of them. As we see God's faithfulness to His Word, we can see that He is not only our Savior, but the Sovereign Lord over all. May we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the promises that God fulfilled, and may share the Good News of Jesus this Christmas season.
    Scripture: Matthew 1:18-23

    Promises That Cannot Fail
Peter encouraged believers to look to the great and magnificent promises of God. By observing the many ways God has kept His promises, we can trust that we have been given all that we need to live a godly life. May we share the Good News of Jesus with others and be reminded of the great promise that all who trust Christ as their Lord and Savior can have a relationship with Jesus and eternal life with Him.

    A Call To Repentance
Zechariah preached a message of repentance to the people of Israel. Israel had followed the sins of their fathers and were living in disobedience to God. God used Zechariah the same way He desires to use each of us today. May we be God's instruments of repentance as we share the good news of Jesus to others.
    Scripture: Zechariah 1:1-6

The Eternal Worth Of Our Inheritance
Before God created anything, He planned and purposed to save a people for Himself and give them an inheritance of infinite worth. How we value our eternal inheritance directly impacts how we live every day. May we truly treasure Jesus and live for Him each day as we look toward the promised marriage and the full extent of our relationship with Him.
    Scripture: Ephesians 1:11-14

Martin Luther: Clarification Of The Gospel And The Protestant Reformation
For many years, Martin Luther struggled to find a right standing before God. He thought he could achieve justification by doing all that the church proscribed. However, none of those works could truly rescue him from the sin that he battled with. When his eyes were open to the great truth that we are justified by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, he chose to devote his life to spreading the message of the gospel. May we look to Jesus' finished work on the cross as the only means of salvation.
    Scripture: Romans 1:16-17, Various

    Extravagant Love
Jesus was invited to a Pharisee's house, and while He was there, a woman, known for her immoral lifestyle, fell to Jesus' feet to worship Him. This woman knew that she was living a life of disobedience to God and felt the great love and forgiveness of Jesus. Her response to Jesus' extravagant love was extravagant worship. She poured out a vial of expensive perfume at His feet and washed them. This perfume amounted to her entire life savings. May we live a life of extravagant worship in response to Jesus' extravagant love toward us.
    Scripture: Luke 7:36-50

    Go Be The Church
The church of Colossae was started by an ordinary man named, Epaphras. God uses every day followers of Christ to build His Kingdom. May we not think that ministry is carried out only by pastors on Sunday, but may we go and be the church every day in our communities and workplaces. May we proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to those people God puts in our paths every week.
    Scripture: Colossians 1:24-28, Acts 8:1-4

Be One, Make One: The Path Of Discipleship
In Luke 9, Jesus explained the heart of discipleship. In order to make disciples, we must be faithful disciples of Jesus. We must deny ourselves, take up our cross daily, and follow Jesus. May we intentionally make disciples as we seek to be more like Jesus every day.
    Scripture: Luke 9:23
