Operating From God’s Success
God called Abraham to leave his life of paganism and his mindset of operating from man's success. Abraham turned to God and chose to live his life from God's success rather than his own. May we see the finished work of Christ on the cross as the means by which we can live victoriously. When we love God, love people, and love our world, we can see God restore people to Himself.

    Moses: Regret and Redemption
Throughout Moses' life, we can see how God sovereignly worked despite Moses' failures and regrets. Moses’ life was not a failure because his life was about much more than his story. May we live in a way that points others to Jesus and look to Him to be the example of which we live our lives.

    The Coming Kingdom Pt.4
In the closing verses of Isaiah 61, we are introduced to the Kingdom song. Isaiah looked ahead to the promise of the salvation in Jesus when we would be given clothes of righteousness. God will bring His kingdom into fruition. We can trust in His promise and seek to build His Kingdom here.

    The Coming Kingdom Pt.3
Isaiah continued his message to Israel by explaining the rich blessings that God had given them, His infinite justice and mercy, and how the world would be able to recognize God's work. As we seek to apply these things, we can see our need to repent of our own selfishness and discontentment with all that God has given us. May we seek to use all that God has given to push back the darkness and proclaim His goodness to all.
    Scripture: Isaiah 61:7-9

    The Coming Kingdom Pt.2
As we continue in Isaiah 61, we see that our restoration in Christ compels us to seek the restoration of the world around us. There is a deep brokenness in this world, and God is in the business of transforming and restoring all things and making them new. May we join in God's mission of restoration by first addressing our personal brokenness and then reaching others in the midst of theirs with the Good News of Jesus.
    Scripture: Isaiah 61:2-6

    The Coming Kingdom Pt.1
When Jesus stood in the synagogue and preached from Isaiah 61, He declared that the passage had been fulfilled in that moment through His mission of redemption on earth. Jesus has called to partner with Him in His mission. As believers, we have been anointed by God and appointed by Him to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all people.
    Scripture: Isaiah 61:1-2a

    Walk Worthy
In the incredible book of Ephesians, Paul details the immeasurable riches that are found in Jesus, and he explains that the worth of Christ should compel us to live worthy lives. In response to this journey through the entire book of Ephesians, may our lives be change by the truth of God in the Word of God revealed by the Spirit of God. May the Holy Spirit take these truths and root them deep in our hearts so that we would enjoy Christ and walk worthy for His glory.

    First Things First
When Paul was preparing to visiting Rome, he wrote them a letter imploring them to stand firm on the gospel. He told them not to be ashamed of the gospel because it is the power of God for salvation to all who believe. In 2018, may we be even more bold in the way we declare and display the Good News of Jesus by loving God, loving people, and loving our world.

Promises: The Child Of The Promise
Scripture gave many prophecies concerning the birth of the Messiah. Jesus is the only One who could have fulfilled all of them. As we see God's faithfulness to His Word, we can see that He is not only our Savior, but the Sovereign Lord over all. May we celebrate the birth of Jesus and the promises that God fulfilled, and may share the Good News of Jesus this Christmas season.
    Scripture: Matthew 1:18-23

    Promises That Cannot Fail
Peter encouraged believers to look to the great and magnificent promises of God. By observing the many ways God has kept His promises, we can trust that we have been given all that we need to live a godly life. May we share the Good News of Jesus with others and be reminded of the great promise that all who trust Christ as their Lord and Savior can have a relationship with Jesus and eternal life with Him.
