Grace Through The Father’s Eyes
Series: FOUND
As Jesus shared the story of a man with two sons, He explained how the younger son got his inheritance from his father and proceeded to spent it on extravagant and sinful living. When the younger son reached the lowest point in his life, he realized that he needed to return to his father's house. However, when the son was still far away, the father ran to him and poured out his love and grace onto his son. From this passage, we see a small picture of the grace and love that God has shown us. May we be humbled that when we were unclean because of our sin, God was willing to give to us the righteousness of Christ, and may we share that Good News with others.
Scripture: Luke 15:11-24

    The Relentless Pursuit
    Series: FOUND
In the second part of Jesus' parable in Luke 15, we see that God's relentless pursuit of the lost is driven by His desire to display His glory through Jesus Christ. By observing how passionately the woman searched for her coin, we can see how the value of something dictates the effort of the pursuit. Our worth and value can be seen in all that Jesus did on the cross to redeem us. Through His Holy Spirit, God pursues after lost souls and will do whatever it takes to find them. We must have that same passion to seek the lost around us.

    The Good Shepherd
    Series: FOUND
In Luke 15:1-7, Jesus shared a parable about a man who searched for and rescued his lost sheep. This first part of the larger parable explained how God relentlessly pursues the lost, through Jesus, for the glory of His name. We also see that the grace of Jesus meets us where we are. As we tune our hears to hear God’s voice, surrender to Him, and rest in Him, we will become overwhelmed by His presence. May the acts of God’s love point us the greatness of God and His glory, and may we see Jesus as the Good Shepherd.
