Repent And Return To Christ
When famine hit the south country where Abram and his family resided, he chose to go down into Egypt rather than trust God for provision. He also compromised his marriage by telling the Egyptian Pharaoh that Sarai was his sister. Abram needed to come to a place of repentance and turn from his sin and turn to God. May we repent of our disobedience and return to Jesus as our true satisfaction.
Scripture: Genesis 12:10-13:4, Various

    Operating From God’s Success
God called Abraham to leave his life of paganism and his mindset of operating from man's success. Abraham turned to God and chose to live his life from God's success rather than his own. May we see the finished work of Christ on the cross as the means by which we can live victoriously. When we love God, love people, and love our world, we can see God restore people to Himself.
